Company W.G. van der Zanden

On September 1st, 1894, Westerborg & Van Raalte was founded as a wholesaler in households. Later on the company was taken over by Mr. W.G. van der Zanden and the company name was changed in W.G. van der Zanden BV v/h Westerborg & Van Raalte.

Messrs. Maarssen and Sternberg took over the company in 1965 and the new name of the company was W.G. van der Zanden BV. Under their management the company specialized as Supplier to Ship Suppliers.

In 2000 the company was sold to its present owner Mr. J. van Doorn and moved from its location in the Van Vollenhovenstraat, in the picturesque Ships quarter in Rotterdam to a new Location in Hoogvliet.

Nowadays W.G. van der Zanden BV is a modern and dynamic non food importer and wholesaler specialized in household, hotel ware and food service equipment.
